City officials met with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) on September 26 concerning the Cedar Creek Bridge project which is scheduled to begin October 7 and last 325 days. This project will consist of:
- Two new bridges
- A new pedestrian bridge
- Widening of the Broadway/Caddo intersection
- Resurfacing the Broadway/Caddo intersection
- New traffic lights
ODOT has guaranteed that two lanes of traffic will remain open during construction however the walking trail underneath Highway 64 bridge will be shut down beginning October 14, 2019, until the completion of the project.
Operations Manager Clint Sout asks citizens to please be mindful of construction workers during this time of improvements.
